Oh the trials and tribulations of gardening....

In the front I have awful cicada killer wasps that are supposedly harmless and are to only hang around for 3 weeks but they love my front walkway so much that they have taken up residence for 6 weeks thus far. There is no way I go near the beds to weed when they are in residence..Would you?

These are the taters that I retrieved from the tires after seeing that the plants had died unexpectedly.Pathetic huh??
