The Devil Wears Prada

Went to the Peter Som Spring 2009 show at Fashion Week in NYC. First off, we entered through the dressing room- with all the models getting dressed and primped in hair and makeup. Peter himself came up to us and was as cool as a cucumber-don't know how he was so relaxed with all the buzzing around him but he was indeed.

The clothes were feminine and colorful.There was lots of bright blues and pinks as well as black and white and grays. Jewels sewn on the clothes were prominent. I've never been to a show before. It was quite something. There was a whole wall of photographers. It lasted only about 12 minutes. Anna Wintour was the first to leave, and flew out with her entourage as soon as the show ended. I wanted everything!


Peter Som is a man who is a genius at what he does and a gentleman to boot. Bravo!
